Machines for waste separation and sorting
Trommels
Urban waste and packaging plants use trommels to separate organic matter and eliminate voluminous materials from the process or to filter inert components in compost refining plants.
At Solid Recycling, you will find a wide range of trommels with different diameters, screening lengths and sheet thickness, capable of adapting to the conditions of any type of plant: single or double trommels for the separation of urban waste, refining trommels or trommels for construction and demolition waste treatment facilities, amongst others.
Machines for separating and sorting metals
The successful treatment of waste fractions is directly related to the sorting of metals at their source, which greatly improves the recycling plant’s performance capability.
Solid Recycling incorporates in its designs the most effective and versatile separators available. They can be installed in the most basic systems for manual material selection and in complex, fully automated facilities in order to obtain the most competitive results.
Densimetric Air Separator
The densimetric air separator is primarily used to separate mixtures of various materials that
make up WDF (waste derived fuels) and construction and demolition waste (CDW). This sorting
enables, for example, the separation of metal and heavy particles that are not part of WDF and
hinder their treatment, transport and dosing.
Our densimetric separator has an ergonomic and flexible design that enables its adaptation to
any type of location and industry.
Sieves and densimetric tables
The sieves and densimetric tables are machines designed to separate products with different densities with a fluidising fan combined with a vibrating system. This technology has been applied highly successfully to the recycling of materials such as compost, demolition waste or aluminium.
Solid Recycling supplies sieves and densimetric tables capable of adapting to the most delicate conditions and materials in order to achieve the most competitive levels of purity on the market.
Triage booths
Triage booths are rooms, generally closed, in which a conveyor belt is installed for manual triage.
At Solid Recycling, each project is unique, which is why our engineers and technicians will analyse the needs of your company in order to adapt the design of the triage booths to the conveyor settings, to other detectors or separators and to the manual selection points required for the correct operation of the plant.
